Summer in Alleghe: to breathe in the heart of Dolomites

Every day spent in the gorgeous Dolomites is another pretty picture to frame and keep in your personal album of memories.

When it’s summer in the Dolomites, you cannot help but succumb to the beauty around you: the distant outline of the valleys, the deep horizons that reflect the colours of the rocky mountain ranges, the heady fragrances of the woods and meadows and the typical Alpine flora and wild animals. Everyone, even the most demanding tourist, goes home, happy to have been here.

Alleghe is an old Alpine town with traditional mountain architecture which lies on the shores of Lake Alleghe and at the foot of the awe-inspiring northwest face of Monte Civetta.

Alleghe offers something for everyone all year round: in the winter it is a haven for winter sports as it lies within the Ski Civetta ski area, the Great War ski tour and the Dolomiti Superski ski district with more than 1200 km of slopes. In summer it is the ideal destination for outdoor sports and anyone who wants to relax in an unspoiled, extraordinary, natural setting.

Two comfortable cable cars will take you to Piani di Pezzè (1450 m) and Col dei Baldi (1900 m), starting points for excursions of all levels.

Lovers of mountain biking couldn’t ask for more in Alleghe, with a daily pass that gives them the freedom to go wherever they want in the mountains.

Ziplines, the Civetta Adventure Park, climbing walls… Alleghe is pure adrenaline!
